Education and Qualifications

I earned a Master of Arts Degree in Counseling and a Post-Graduate Certificate in
Marriage and Family Therapy from Columbia International University, and have dual licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (# 5731) and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (#4681) in South Carolina. I have additional training for treating trauma, which includes Trauma-Focused CBT and EMDR. As a Supervisor Candidate, I provide supervision for both LPC-As and LMFT-As.

My professional experience includes working with “at risk” teens; elementary and high school students as a school-based counselor; and currently with individuals (ages 4-adult), couples and families, as well as providing consulting services for the “Head Start” preschool program through my private practice. Among working with the traditional struggles of anxiety, depression, grief & loss, and relationship issues, etc., I specialize in treating trauma for various ages.
